Proffitt Family Farms LLC operates a grass-fed beef farm in Kings Mountain, NC. Steve Proffitt and his daughter, Shelley Eagan, offer beef cows that are born and raised on their pasture eating only grass. Their beef is hormone and antibiotic free and USDA processed. The Proffitt family’s mission is to produce high quality food grown in a natural way. To provide the animals with an environment that lets them live their entire lives as nature intended a cow should, by allowing them to forage exclusively on pasture. On the farm they use management practices that enable the cows and pastureland to sustain each other with only rain and sunshine. It’s a beautiful thing!
